IRG Attending Local Chapter Meetings in NYC
Candace LaChapelle, VP of Business Development at IRG, plans to attend three meetings for local chapters of Insurance Organizations in New York City.
The first meeting Candace will be attending is the New York Claims Association’s workshop on “The Legal and Medical Perspectives of Pain Management” on November 13th at the New York State Insurance Fund. The following day, she plans to attend the APIW/IBANY November Luncheon.
On November 28th, the National Association of Insurance Women will be holding their local chapter meeting at the American Red Cross in New York City. Candace LaChapelle, who is on the Board of Directors for the NYC chapter, will be in attendance for this meeting as well.
Candace LaChapelle to attend NWCD and NASP Conferences
Candace LaChapelle, VP of Business Development at IRG, will be spending time at two conferences taking place in the first week of November 2007.
The first conference she will visit is the National Association of Subrogation Professionals’ Annual Conference, which is taking place at the Hilton New Orleans Riverside Hotel in New Orleans, LA from November 4th-7th. Candace plans to spend the remainder of the week at the National Workers’ Compensation and Disability Conference & Expo at McCormick Place in Chicago, IL from November 6-8.

IRG Attendance at October Conferences
October is proving to be a busy month in terms of Conferences for Insurance Recovery Group. Here are just a few of which IRG will be attending:
On October 1-2, Candace LaChapelle, Vice President of Business Development at IRG, will be attending the Tenth Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference in Newport, RI. The International Workers’ Compensation Foundation and The Rhode Island Workers’ Compensation Court sponsor this program which provides valuable workers’ compensation information to all those working in the field.
IRG will be exhibiting at the New Hampshire Adjusters’ Association Annual Educational Conference, being held at the Center of New Hampshire in Manchester on October 18th and 19th. The Conference will be hosting a Workers’ Compensation Program October 18th and a Liability/Property Program on October 19th. Be sure to check out our booth at the Vendor Expo which begins at noon on the 18th.
Maura Hirl, Esq. and Manager of South Carolina Claims for IRG will be attending the SCWCEA’s 31st Annual Educational Conference on Workers’ Compensation, taking place in Myrtle Beach from October 21st through the 24th. The Conference is your opportunity to trade ideas, learn from the experts and have the opportunity to evaluate your current practices—all while building powerful relationships with colleagues, business partners and friends.
The Workers’ Compensation Research Institute will be hosting its Annual Issues & Research Conference in Boston on October 24-25, and IRG’s Chairman W. Frederick Uehlein will be in attendance. Wednesday’s program will highlight recently published or soon-to-be-published findings from new WCRI studies, while the following day’s program will feature sessions on “win-wins” in the workers’ compensation system.
