Mr. Uehlein is the Founder and Chairman of
Insurance Recovery Group, a firm that specializes in second injury fund and COLA recoveries for Employers,
Insurers, and Third Party Administrators throughout the United States. He has also been Managing Partner
and Founder of a leading Massachusetts law firm in the field of insurance defense and prior to that
advocated for injured workers claiming workers’ compensation benefits. He has over 33 years experience in
workers' compensation insurance practice. In addition, Mr. Uehlein is a frequent lecturer and writer on insurance claims issues,
second injury fund, COLA recovery, and litigation management. Mr. Uehlein is a member of the Workers'
Compensation Trial Lawyers Association, and is on the Advisory Committee of John Burton's "Workers' Compensation
Resources." He is a graduate of Boston College Law School and Trinity College, and is licensed to practice in Massachusetts and New York.
